Michael Carlisi as Dan
began acting at the age of six as Tiny Tim in
A Christmas Carol. In 2001 he began studying at A.C.T. in San Francisco and in 2002 he landed his first adult role in Jim Provenzano's
Pins. After Pins he was in the touring show
The Other Side of the Closet. In 2003 he made his feature film debut in the comedy
Trannies. He then started a theater company with two friends from A.C.T, The Empty Pocket Players. Carlisi directed their first and only production,
Rope. He then was hired to direct
Neon's Crazy Blues for the Fringe Festival in San Francisco. In 2005, after touring the country as manager, booking agent and promoter for the rock band Ride the Blinds, he joined the Shelton Actor’s Lab, where he studied with Jean Shelton and performed in
Beyond Therapy by Christopher Durang. In 2006 he stared in the horror feature
Hell House, and recently appeared in Tennessee William’s
Camio Real at the Actors Theater. He continues to study with Jean Shelton. .
